fluid futures: the water show

Fluid Futures: The Water Show began as a collaborative large scale project, led by Dani Mosimann, Aggie Jurochnik and myself. It was a site specific response to a fountain house in a 17th Century palace in Poland. The performance combined rituals, audience participation and personal stories relating to the symbolism of water in today's society. Many other members of the Palace Collective collaborated with us on this project, for which we are extremely grateful.

First performed at in Gorzanów as part of the Palace Art Residency in September 2023, the performance was then reimagined as Splashes from the Water Show with additional devised material by Danny Polaris, and performed at 90mil, Berlin in October 2023.

the internet is a very strange place to be

The first performance by Organized Chaos. Made in three days, and performed on the last one in April 2023. Should we turn it off? Would you like a digital detox? How much porn is too much porn? How did it shape your adolescence? How do you meet strangers online? A frantic and frenetic performance covering as many facets of internet culture as possible, from sharing photos with potential lovers to meeting wellness gurus, this performance looks at loneliness and isolation in the digital era.

every building tells a story. Every story collapses eventually.

Three slightly unhinged performers, who look suspiciously like estate agents, lead you on a surprising journey through the urban sprawl of everyday life.
Every Building Tells a Story. Every Story Collapses Eventually switches from political and poignant to comedic and ridiculous in the blink of an eye and explores the bonds we form in relation to the space we occupy.
Rough Triangle use a unique blend of game play, storytelling, comedy, lo-fi visual spectacles and autobiography to present this unusual piece, including an ill-fated love story, the building of skyscraper, the demolition of a council estate and a dance piece, with cardboard boxes. The company lay utopian dreams of structural bliss bare, before haphazardly demolishing them to make room for the next.

And there is a bit with boxes, loads and loads of boxes.

experiments in disappearing

Experiments in Disappearing is the latest performance by Organized Chaos. A collective which I co-founded with Butoh Dancer, Min Yoon. In this performance we explore the theme of disappearing in relation to colonialism, insomnia, quantum physics, objectification and multiple other contexts. We use a mixture of performance, dance, and movement techniques and motifs to bring the subject to life. This piece is currently in development to become a full length performance.

Hog Body

Hog Body is a short film made in collaboration with Doktor Bitchcraft. In the film two bellies meet, go on a date, and then make out. The film is an attempt to bring into focus body parts that often seen as shameful, undesirable, or which we as performers have complicated relationships with, and to make them desirable. The film begins as comedic and transforms into sensual at the end. Story by Doktor Bitchkraft with assistance by Bill Roberts.

Edited by Monty Fitzgerald

Camera by Daisy Steele

Performed by Doktor Bitchkraft and Bill Roberts.

Performed in the role of Scientist for the performance of this that was Part of This is An Intervention on 11/07/20 at Admiralbrücke, Berlin. This was a piece of interactive street theatre piece created in collaboration with Camp Collapse.

A group of time travelling scientists from the future are trying to find answers to figure out some big questions, to decide if this is the timeline that they would like to stay on, or if there is a better one somewhere they could head to:

"Are we heading towards a good future?"

"Is our reality the one that will learn from the Covid19 crisis and start taking steps towards facing the climate crisis?"
